2018 Awards Nomination Procedures
Any employee, manager, director, member-cooperative or employee association may nominate an individual or cooperative for any of the NDAREC awards. There is no maximum number of nominations an individual or cooperative can make in a given year. Prior award recipients and nominees are eligible for nomination.
To nominate an individual or cooperative, the nominator should contact NDAREC’s director of education and member services, their cooperative’s board president or general manager/CEO, who receives a nomination packet. The nomination packet includes a description of the award categories, nomination procedures, nomination criteria for each award category and application forms, and a listing of previous award recipients.
The nominator should e-mail the completed nomination form and all other requested information to Pamela Clark-Stein, director of education and member services, at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Oct. 17. Please include a photo of the nominee for use in the NDAREC awards Power Point presentation and a possible feature story in the Co-op Communicator employee publication if the nominee is selected for an award. Ideally, the photos are related to the projects, programs or accomplishments for which the individual is being nominated. Please submit the photos as a PDF file.
The electronic nominations will be forwarded to members of the professional development committee for review prior to the designated meeting for selecting award recipients. It’s important to provide all information electronically.
Nominations will be accepted when submitted online or e-mailed on or before the Oct. 17 deadline.
