As an Lineworker at REC, you’ll have the opportunity to work on energized lines (approved gloving methods used), as well as respond to real-time outage calls. Construct and repair electric distribution and transmission line of the cooperative. Complete installation lightning arrestors, circuit breakers, regulators, transformers, and other equipment. Safety at REC is a top priority.

Seasonal Apprentice Lineworker – 3 openings
Nodak Electric Cooperative, Grand Forks, Michigan, Grafton
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the line department in maintaining and troubleshooting the cooperative’s distribution system.
Basic knowledge of an overhead and underground distribution system. Applicant must be able to climb poles and terminate URD cable.
This is a full-time, seasonal position with some benefits. This position is an hourly paid position with a 40-hour work week with some possible overtime. This position requires work to be performed outside of the office.
