NDAREC Hires Lakoduk as Safety Instructor

Mandan, N.D. — The North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives (NDAREC) is proud to welcome Brian Lakoduk as the newest addition to its staff. Lakoduk will serve as a safety instructor, furthering the organization’s commitment to provide safety training to North Dakota’s electric cooperatives.

“We are thrilled to have Brian join our team. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will help further the mission of NDAREC and promote the values important to North Dakota’s electric cooperatives,” Josh Kramer, NDAREC executive vice president and general manager.

Lakoduk joins NDAREC with 24 years of experience in the industry. He brings many talents and experience in the areas of distribution and transmission, as well as experience as a crane operator and bare handler. Originally from Butte, N.D., Lakoduk is a graduate of Bismarck State College’s lineworker program.

NDAREC is the statewide trade association for 16 electric distribution cooperatives and five generation and transmission cooperatives operating in North Dakota. The distribution cooperatives provide electricity to more than 250,000 North Dakotans along more than 200,000 meters. NDAREC services include legislative advocacy, line worker safety training and professional development services, cooperative business development, and communication services including publication of the North Dakota Living magazine.
